GP Clinics
Our current system is for Doctors to triage patients prior to calling them in for a face to face appointment.
This service is offered via text or email and can be accessed by clicking on the link below:

Please note that this system replaces the old walk in surgery and is a very quick and easy process to contact your GP.
Telephone
Some issues can be dealt with a simple telephone call. A GP can call you back when available.
Telephone: 01647 24272
Emails can be sent in with routine queries. Please use the practice website D-ICB.CheritonBishop@nhs.net
They will be forwarded on the appropriate person and responded to within 48 hours.
Bookable appointments
We have a range of appointments with male and female practitioners at both sites.
Emergency appointments
If an urgent appointment is needed during the day the GP may call you back to review and discuss and arrange appropriate review.
Home Visits
We provide home visits for patients who are housebound or unable to travel to the surgery. It would be expected that those that can be transported would be seen at the surgeries. If a house call may be needed please contact the surgery before 10am to enable visits to be factored in.
Improved access and extended hours
We are linked with a consortium of practices to provide additional out of standard hour GP appointments. Patients of ours can click here to link into these services for additional appointments.
We provide additional appointments from 6.30 - 8.30 on Tuesday evenings. These are aimed at those who would struggle to access the in-hour appointments.
The NHS App is a useful resource for comprehensive interaction from the NHS.
If outside surgery hours, dial 111 if you need urgent help and advice. If an emergency, dial 999.
