Walk-in clinic: This runs from 8am until 9.30 every weekday morning at Cheriton Bishop Surgery. It is a sit and wait service but ensures acute problems are dealt with on the day. We usually have two doctors running this service and the waits are usually between 20-30 minutes but can vary.
There are booked appointments with all GP's at both surgeries. These can be booked online or via the practice email, econsult or telephone.
Some issues can be dealt with a simple telephone call. A GP can call you back when available.
Telephone: 01647 24272
Emails can be sent in with routine queries. Please use either e-consult or via the practice website D-CCG.CheritonBishop@nhs.net.
They will be forwarded on the appropriate person and responded to within 48 hours.
We have a range of appointments with male and female practitioners at both sites.
If an urgent appointment is needed during the day the GP may call you back to review and discuss and arrange appropriate review.
We provide home visits for patients who are housebound or unable to travel to the surgery. It would be expected that those that can be transported would be seen at the surgeries. If a house call may be needed please contact the surgery before 10am to enable visits to be factored in.
We are linked with a consortium of practices to provide additional out of standard hour GP appointments. Patients of ours can click here to link into these services for additional appointments.
We provide additional appointments from 6.30 - 8.30 on Tuesday evenings. These are aimed at those who would struggle to access the in-hour appointments.
