The Moorings @ Devon 

The Moorings offers out-of-hours mental health support to anyone aged 16+ in the Devon area. 

Based at St Leonards GP Practice, Athelstan Road, St Leonards, Exeter EX1 1SB

SupportLine

SupportLine offer confidential emotional support to children, young adults and adults who reside in the UK, by telephone, email and post. They work with callers to develop healthy, positive coping strategies, an inner feeling of strength and increased self-esteem to encourage healing, recovery and moving forward with life.

They also keep details of counsellors, agencies and support groups throughout the UK.

Kooth

Kooth is a free, safe, and anonymous online platform where young people can access mental health support whenever they need it. Delivered in partnership with the NHS, Kooth is available to anyone between the ages of 10-18, and in some areas, it extends up to age 25.

SOCOPS

Social Opportunities (SOCOPS) was created to reach out to children with autistic spectrum conditions and their families to provide help, support and understanding. 

SOCOPS takes place on a Saturday morning between 10:30am and 12:30pm during term times and is located in Exeter.

General Counselling

There are two low cost, self-referral confidential counselling services in Exeter. All counsellors are fully trained or final year Diploma level students who work within professional codes of practice and receive regular supervision. A donation is requested for each 1 hour session.
